Description

Mill Cottage is a mid-19th century house that was originally the home of the mill master or manager. It is constructed from coursed rusticated stone with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The south front has two storeys and three bays, with a two-storey outshut at the rear of the right bay. There are steps leading up to the door located to the right of the second bay. Each floor has three tall chamfered mullion windows. The building has plain gutter brackets on the eaves and features end stacks as well as one stack on the ridge. At the rear, there is a door in the second bay, two one-light windows, and a garage in the outshut.
