Description
Nos 5, 6, and 7 Jane Hills are three houses dated 1796, constructed from hammer-dressed stone with ashlar quoins and a stone slate roof. They are two storeys high, with each house having one bay. Nos 5 and 6 feature a plain stone surround doorway with a 6-panel door, while No 7 has a later inserted doorway. Each house has one 3-light flat-faced mullion window on each floor, fitted with 6-pane casements. Above the doorway of No 6, there is a tablet that reads "C R A 17 96". The buildings have stone brackets supporting the gutter and gable copings on cut kneelers. There are two ashlar stacks with cornices, and a blocked taking-in door is located on the left gable end.
