Description
The gates and gate-piers to the Church of St. Paul, dating from around 1823, consist of a pair of square ashlar gate-piers. Each pier features lancet panels and is topped with a pyramidal cap, which is further adorned by a stone statuette of a prophet. The entrance is completed by double iron gates that have spear-headed bars, dog-bars, and curved bracing. These structures are included for their group value with the church.
