Description

The gate piers and gates to the Parish Church of St Paul were built around 1846. They consist of square stone piers with small buttresses featuring cusped blind arches on each face. The piers have foliate necking and pyramidal capping, which is topped by a cross that has four dials. The gates are made of cast iron with an arrowhead design, and the upper row of spikes includes three wrought iron leaves on each spike.
