Greengates Liberal Club is a two-storey building dating from around 1850 to 1860, featuring a symmetrical five-bay elevation made of dressed sandstone that resembles brick. It has a first-floor sill band and a slate roof with saddlestones and kneelers. The ground floor has flat-arched windows, and there is a central arched passageway. The doorway of No. 175 is distinguished by a moulded cornice.
