Description
Lloyds Bank is a building dating from around 1840 to 1850, featuring a bow fronted elevation with three storeys and a half basement. The exterior is made of painted sandstone dressed to resemble brick. The half basement is articulated by grooved piers, with a plat band above that serves as a sill band for the ground floor windows. There are sill bands on the upper floors as well, topped with a cornice that has modillion brackets and a blocking course. The building has seven windows, which are plain revealed sashes without glazing bars. Additionally, there are two doorways framed by architrave surrounds, each topped with cornices.
