Description
These steps, gate piers, and flanking walls likely date from around 1693 and are probably contemporary with the nearby house. The walls are built of hammer-dressed stone, while the gate piers and steps are constructed from ashlar. A flight of nine semicircular steps leads up to low gate piers with chamfered inner jambs and roll-moulded coping, which continues along the top of the walls. The features are listed for their group value.
