Description

The barn located to the rear of Number 72 on Market Street in Thornton is an early 19th-century structure. It is built from sandstone in a brick-like style and was originally part of the adjacent Number 74. The barn features a stone slate roof with saddlestones and has a segmental voussoir archway.
