Description

The barn at Number 12 is an early 18th century structure. It is built from ironstone rubble, with the stonework arranged to highlight occasional courses. The barn has been reroofed with corrugated iron, and the steep pitch of the roof suggests it may have originally been thatched. On the street front, there are large central doors that have been blocked in. The right gable features a half-hip, while the left gable includes a window and a ventilation slit. This barn holds an important position on the street.
