Description

Brook Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed of ironstone rubble, featuring angle quoins and large stones that are stepped in the gable. The roof is modern and tiled, with brick axial and gable stacks. The building has two storeys and a three-unit plan. The entrance door is located to the left of the centre of the elevation, behind the stack, and is sheltered by a lattice work porch. The façade includes various two and three-light casement windows with chamfered wooden lintels, as well as an additional door to the right of the elevation. At the rear of the house, there is an original outshut and a hipped gable. The northern gable chimney flue projects from the structure.
