Description

Numbers 17 and 18, along with the integral barn to the rear, originate from the 17th century but were altered in the late 18th century. The building features a two-storey gabled front made of sandstone "brick" with flush quoins that face the center of the fold. The corner of Number 18 is splayed and curved at the ground floor to create a passageway. There are four-light square mullion windows on the first floor and three-light windows on the ground floor, all set in squared surrounds. The doorways have squared jambs. The stone slate roof extends over the barn that has been built onto the rear.
