Description
Hodgson Fold is a building with origins in the 17th century that has been altered and subdivided in the late 18th century and early 19th century. It features a broad gabled front made of irregular gritstone and sandstone "brick," with flush quoins at the corner of No 12. The building has a stone slate roof, complete with a saddlestone and shaped kneelers at the gable. The windows are square mullion style. No 11 includes a porch with a date stone inscribed with "1.4.1652." A side window retains a 17th-century splayed reveal, although the mullions have been cut. No 13 was added to the rear in the late 18th century and also has shaped kneelers on the gable end. It features two three-light square mullion windows and a 19th-century porch.
