West House Farmhouse and Nos 1 and 2 West House Cottages.

Farmhouse and cottage now farmhouse and 2 cottages. C18 and cottage added early C19. Coursed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. House, on left: 5 lst-floor windows. Quoins. A chamfered quoined doorway to left and right, that on right masked by gabled porch with plinth, shaped lintel inscribed 'TMNR 1970', shaped kneelers and ashlar coping. Later plain stone surround doorway on far right gives access to cottage. Flat-faced mullion windows of 3 and 4 lights, some mullions removed. To lst-floor, left, a stone inscribed 'John Wright 1709'; datestone 'W between 4th and 5th lst-floor windows inscribed JA 1793'. Corniced stacks. Cottage on right: 2 lst-floor windows. Central plain stone surround doorway with interrupted jambs. Flat-faced mullion windows, of one and 2 lights with cill band to ground floor, of one and 3 lights above. End stack right.
