Description

Near Scholes Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1641, constructed of stone with a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a rear outshut. To the left, there is an open porch with a lean-to roof that includes a moulded doorway with a dated, shaped lintel and stone seats. The farmhouse has remains of double-chamfered mullion windows, while the majority of the windows are from the 19th and 20th centuries. At the rear, there is a notable 10-light double-chamfered mullion window.
