Description

North Ives Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating to 1600, with a later 18th-century addition. The building is constructed of stone with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and has two first-floor windows. A gabled porch contains the original dated entrance door, featuring crossed oak timbers and pegs. The windows are double-chamfered mullion windows: four lights to the left of the porch, eleven to the right, and eight and six lights above. A late 18th-century addition, built in a matching style, extends to the rear. Inside, the kitchen has a ceiling with oak joints.
