Description

This is a barn located to the east of Dixon Hill Farmhouse, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from dry-stone rubble that is brought to course and features a corrugated iron roof. The barn has quoins and is large in size, with two segmental-arched cart entries that also include quoins, voussoirs, and skewbacks. There are round-arched slit vents and chamfered quoined doorways on the returns of the cart entrances as well as between the two entrances.
