Description
Manor House is a house dated 'GMT 1753', built of ashlar with a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and features two first-floor windows. The building has raised quoins and a central board door that is framed by Tuscan pilasters, a frieze, and a pediment, with four-light flat-faced mullioned windows on either side in slightly projecting surrounds. There is a moulded string course, and above the doorway, a datestone is set in a round-arched architrave with a keystone and imposts, flanked by windows similar to those below. The house has a cavetto-moulded cornice and corniced end stacks. To the left, there is a two-storey, one-bay wing that has a door in a flush stone surround and a two-light window above, which may be earlier than the main house.
