Description
Home Farmhouse and the adjoining cottage to the west date from the late 18th century and are now combined into one dwelling. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Collyweston stone slate roof with deep eaves. There are end stacks made of stone on the eastern side (farmhouse) and brick on the western side (cottage).
The farmhouse is three storeys high with a double-fronted, three-window range. It has a central four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight above, featuring glazing bars arranged in a lozenge pattern, and a lintel with a double keystone. The central bay has two-light casement windows, while the other bays have three-light casement windows, all with cills and lintels that have slightly projecting keystones.
The cottage, also three storeys, has a single window range and features a 20th-century door in its original opening to the right. It includes two-light casement windows, with lintels over all openings that also have slightly projecting keystones.
