Description

Cornerstones is an 18th-century cottage that was extended by one bay to the north in the 19th century. It is built of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Collyweston stone slate roof. The cottage has a stone ridge stack at the end of the 18th-century part and a slightly projecting stack at the north end. It stands two storeys high and has a two-window range. The entrance is located on the south side and features a 19th-century boarded door. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars and cills, and all openings have lintels with flush keystones.
