Description

The churchyard wall and lychgate, dating from the late 19th century, are constructed of rubble stone. The lychgate features a timber structure with a roof made of Collyweston stone slate and clay ridge tiles, topped with a small iron cross. Designed in the Arts-and-Crafts Gothic style, the lychgate is inscribed with the words "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord." This structure is included for its group value.
