Description
6 and 8 Collegiate Crescent are two houses built around 1845. They are constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar fronts and dressings, topped with hipped stone slate roofs. Each house features a single ridge and two side wall corniced stone stacks, with the right stack being cut down. The buildings have a plinth, a first-floor band, and a moulded wooden gutter supported by brackets. They are two storeys tall and have a six-window range arranged in a 3:3 pattern. The windows are 12-pane sashes, with the central window of each house having a moulded surround and a bracketed sill. The central entrance features corniced wooden doorcases with overlights and half-glazed doors, flanked by single windows. The interior has not been inspected.
