Description
This is a late 18th and early 19th century house on Park Lane, Sheffield. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings, topped by a slate roof punctuated by two coped gable stacks and a single ridge stack. The house has two storeys and a six-window front, arranged in a 2:4 configuration. On the left side are two windows with two lights, containing glazing bars. To the right are four similar windows, distinguished by pointed heads above the lights and decorative label moulds. Below, a 19th-century porch features a coped parapet, a square gable, a Tudor arched doorway, and a label mould. A single 2-light casement with a shaped transom and label mould sits to the left of the porch, while four 3-light cross-mullioned windows are positioned to the right. The two right-hand windows of this grouping include shutters. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
