Description

A row of six houses, now also used as offices, was built around 1850. The buildings are constructed of brick with stone dressings, topped with a hipped slate roof and five ridge stacks and two party wall stacks. They have a plinth, chamfered quoins, a band marking the first floor, and decorative wooden eaves. The two-storey facade has an 18-window range, with a slightly projecting central section of six windows. The windows are 12-pane sashes, with brick flat arches, keystones, and stone aprons to the ground floor. Each house has three windows on the upper floor, and below that, a pilastered doorcase with a pediment over a half-glazed 6-panel door and an overlight, all with two windows flanking. The rear elevation is partly rendered with twelve 12-pane sashes with segmental arches. The interior has not been inspected.
