Description

Grieg House is a house, later converted to office use, dating from approximately 1845, with 20th-century replacement windows. The building is constructed of brick with stone dressings, topped by a slate roof with a central rendered ridge stack. Architectural details include a plinth, brick angle pilasters, moulded wooden eaves, and pedimented gables. The two-storey facade has a three-window arrangement, featuring six-pane casement windows with brick flat arches. A plain central doorway has an overlight, flanked by single windows. The left gable has a single casement window, and below it, a canted brick bay window with a cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
