SK3385NE ECCLESALL ROAD 784-1/36/282 (South side (off)) Former stables and fan room to west of Sharrow Mills

GV II

Stables and fan room. Late C18 and mid C19, with mid C20 alterations. Brick with stone slate roofs. 2 storeys; 3 window range. L-plan. North side has to left a gable with a loft door and to right, a range with 3 C20 single pane windows. Below, to left, 2 board doors, both with overlights, and to right 2 segment-headed glazing bar casements. East side has, to right, a C20 single pane casement on each floor. This building was adapted to contain filters which recovered airborne snuff from the dust extraction system. Included for group value.
