Description
The bridge to the east of Sharrow Mills, along with an attached gate pier, is a road bridge over the Porter Brook, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with ashlar coping and features a single flattened segmental arch on the eastern side. The bridge has a curved parapet wall with chamfered coping. On the western side, there is a higher curved wall that encloses a yard and has ramped slab coping. At the northern end of the bridge, there is a rusticated gate pier that includes a plinth and a pyramidal cap.
