Description
The bridge and retaining wall at the rear of Sharrow Mills, located on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield, date from the late 18th century. This structure spans the Porter Brook and is constructed from brick and dry stone, featuring stone coping. It has a single depressed segmental arch and curved parapet walls topped with half-round coping. To the west, there is a curved dry stone retaining wall, approximately 12 meters long, which has similar coping.
