Boundary wall and railing at school (qv). 1906. By Holmes & Watson. For the Sheffield School Board. Coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and wrought-iron railing. Square plan. Carter Knowle Road side has 8 square stone piers with chamfered caps, linked by plinth with chamfered coping and spiked railing. 4 gate piers with moulded caps, and 2 pairs of wrought-iron gates. Bannerdale Road side has similar piers and railing, with rounded corners. Other sides have solid stone wall with gabled stone coping. An ancillary structure to Carter Knowle Junior School. Included for group value.
