Description

The Edge is a late 18th-century house, now converted into flats. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a brick front and stone dressings, topped with a hipped roof covered in artificial stone slates. The house has a plinth and quoins. The front facade has two storeys and a five-window range, featuring renewed 12-pane sash windows with splayed lintels. A central 20th-century door and overlight are flanked by two similar windows on each side. The right return displays a single window on each floor. At the rear, a canted bay contains the staircase. The interior has not been inspected.
