Description
The railing and gates at Kettlebridge Nursery First School were built in 1904 by WJ Hale for the Sheffield School Board. They feature coursed squared stone piers with ashlar dressings, complemented by wrought-iron railing and gates. The railing has a chamfered plinth and includes intermediate rectangular piers with rounded cross gables. To the right, there is an angled section that contains a pair of similar piers with inscribed roundels and a pair of gates. This structure serves as an ancillary building to Kettlebridge Nursery First School and is included for its group value.
