Description

The war memorial wall, located 400 meters north-east of the chapel at Burngreave Cemetery in Sheffield, was built around 1920 and is likely designed by R. Blomfield. It is made of Portland stone and features a curved wall that stands approximately 2 meters high, inscribed with the names of the deceased. The wall has a stepped chamfered coping and a central inscribed panel. It complements a cross located 5 meters to the west.
