Description

Milepost in front of No 193 is a Grade II listed structure, likely dating from the early 19th century. It features a simple, rectangular cast-iron plaque mounted on a sandstone pillar. The raised lettering on the plaque reads: BOTHM / I / SIIEFD / 7 / DONR / 11. This milepost is located on the Tinsley to Doncaster turnpike road and is a rare example of this early type of milepost.
