SK49SW ROTHERHAM DONCASTER ROAD (south side) 5/37 Milepost in front of No 193 - II Milepost. Probably early C19. Simple, rectangular, cast-iron plaque fixed on sandstone pillar. Raised lettering reads: BOTHM / I / SIIEFD / 7 / DONR / 11 Situated on the Tinsley to Doncaster turnpike road. Rare survival of this early type of milepost.
