This is a milepost located at the east end of Stone Green, dating from the late 19th century. It was made by Brayshaw and Booth of Liversedge. The milepost is constructed from cast iron and is fixed onto a gritstone pillar. It features angled sides and a sloping top plate beneath a round-headed panel. The raised lettering on the upper panel reads "ROTHERHAM & BARNBY MOOR / ROAD / YEWS." On the left side, it indicates "BARNBY / MOOR / 8 MILES," while the right side shows "ROTHERHAM / 9 MILES."
