Description
This barn, located approximately 30 metres to the south-west of Manor Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed, squared sandstone and has a sheet asbestos roof. The barn is two storeys high and consists of six bays. It features a wallstone plinth and a tall waggon entrance in bay 5, which has a boarded door set in a quoined opening with a segmental arch. There is a similar doorway in bay 2, with paired slit vents above each opening and on each floor of the other bays. The roof is hipped. At the rear, there is a matching waggon entrance flanked by square first-floor hatches with rebated surrounds. Additionally, there is an enlarged opening with a girder at the rear of bay 2, which has an old doorway above flanked by similar hatches.
