FIRBECK NEW ROAD SK58NE (north side) 3/16 Knight family memorial approximately 2 metres to south-west of porch of Church of St Martin

GV II

Monumental gravestone. C18. Ashlar limestone. In the form of a pedestal surmounted by short obelisk. Moulded plinth and cornice with weathered inscriptions to the Knight family on the die. Upswept top surface of cornice has winged cherubs on 2 sides. Square base to obelisk with vase carved within a panel; top of obelisk broken off.
