Description

Yew Tree House is a house built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared limestone and features stone slate eaves and verges on a pantile roof. The house has two storeys and three bays, with a wing extending to the rear left. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door that is sheltered by a bracketed wooden hood. On either side of the door are two-light casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, projecting stone sills, and segmental-arched heads. The first floor has three similar windows, all of which have shutters. The eaves and verges overhang, and there is an ashlar end stack on the right, which has a plinth band and a band beneath the cap, along with a similar stack on the rear wing.
