Description
This is a gazebo located approximately 50 metres east of Wickersley Grange, built in the early 18th century. It is constructed from squared rubble sandstone and features a stone slate roof. The gazebo is square in shape, single-storey, and consists of one cell. It has large quoins and a quoined doorway on the side facing Wickersley Grange, which includes a boarded door and a plain lintel with an inscribed shield that contains the initials 'I W' and an illegible date. The eaves cornice supports a hipped roof, although the apex is missing. The other sides of the gazebo each have a 20th-century casement window set in a square-faced surround, and there is a low opening with a plain lintel beneath the window on the left return side.
