Description
No. 12 Flanderwell Lane is a small house, now serving as an outbuilding, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble sandstone with stone slate eaves courses beneath a pantile roof. The building features quoins and a boarded door located to the right of the center, which has a large-quoined surround and a square cut-out in the soffit of the deep lintel. On either side of the door are three-light casements with flush sills and lintels, although the jambs have been altered. On the first floor, there are two-light casements set in square-faced surrounds without central mullions, along with a single-light window to the left of the center. The building has shaped kneelers and chamfered gable copings. There is a brick stack on the left end, while the stack on the right gable has been removed. At the time of the resurvey, it was noted as an outbuilding to No. 14 (Westendville).
