Lamp standard. Mid to late C19, made by Thorncliffe Iron Works. Cast iron. Tall base supporting plinth with chamfered top corners, decorated to each side with a castle and a rampant lion, and inscribed to 2 sides 'Thorncliffe'. Bulb base with foliage decoration to tapering stem. Later octagonal lamp to top. Included for group value.
