SOUTH YORKSHIRE DONCASTER 5096 SE60SE CANTLEY GATE WOOD LANE (north side) 4/52 Barn approximately 25 - metres to north-east of Gatewood Farmhouse. - II Barn. Late C18. Red brick in irregular English garden wall bond, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 6 bays. North side has double door beneath segmental brick arch flanked by blocked slit vents. 1st floor: 2 square hatches with rebated ashlar surrounds; slit vents. Eaves band; raised verges. Rear: similar central entrance; lean-to shelter not of special interest. Interior: collared principal-rafter trusses; double purlins; no ridge bean.
