Description
This is a barn located approximately 30 metres north of Glebe Farmhouse, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and features stone slate eaves courses beneath a pantile roof. The barn is two storeys high and consists of five bays.
On the south side, which faces the farmhouse, there is a horizontally-sliding door over an enlarged central opening, along with a segmentally-arched doorway to the left. There are three similar doorways on the first floor, with the central doorway set higher and flanked by bricked-up hatch openings. The barn also has three rows of slit vents. The eaves course is tabled and dentilled, and there are shaped kneelers with ashlar gable copings on the left side only.
At the rear, there are boarded doors leading to a central basket-arched opening, along with additional slit vents. The attached outbuildings are not of special interest.
