Description
Chapel Farmhouse, which includes a chapel to the south, is a farmhouse and chapel built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed, squared stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two bays and two storeys, with quoins on the right side. There is a near-central doorway that is set within a glass porch. The windows are 3-light flat-faced stone mullions, with the ground-floor right window having one blocked light. To the far right, there is an additional entrance leading to the chapel, which has a small light above it. The gable copings are chamfered and sit on cut kneelers. A near-central stone stack with a cornice is present, along with a later brick stack on the right gable. There is a single-storey stone addition to the right that is not of special interest. To the left, at a 90-degree angle, are the farm buildings. Inside, the left end of the house contains a small, simple Church of England chapel.
