Description
Hunshelf Hall is a large detached house, likely built in 1746, with an attached gateway. The building features coursed rubble and a Welsh slate roof, arranged in an L-shape with an addition to the rear. It has two storeys and a symmetrical three-bay facade with rusticated quoins. The central doorway has a 20th-century door and is topped with a cornice on console brackets. The ground floor includes 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 1985 casements set in raised surrounds. The roof is hipped. To the left of the house is an ashlar gateway, which has a moulded architrave and a segmental pediment inscribed with "W G A 1746". The right side of the building features two bays of 12-pane sashes, with a casement window on the ground floor to the left. The interior has not been inspected.
