Description
The barn and attached farm buildings at Chapel Farmhouse date from 1787, with the farm buildings to the right being slightly later. They are constructed of coursed rubble and feature a stone slate roof. The farm buildings are two storeys high. On the right side, there is a tall, segmental-arched cart entrance with a dated keystone. To the right, there is a later entrance, while to the left, there are three equally spaced quoined entrances with deep lintels, two of which are part-blocked. A single pitching hole is located at a high level. The later building to the right has an altered ground floor with an entrance and a single window. On the first floor, there is a former six-light flat-faced mullion window, with the central four lights blocked and the left light having an external shutter. A single stone stack with a cornice is present. The barn and farm buildings are included for their group value with Chapel Farmhouse, which is positioned at a right angle to the right.
