Description
The building is a dovecot located adjacent to Jowett House cottage, dating from the late 18th century, with the upper storey possibly added later. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble with quoins, while the upper storey is made of red brick. The roof is covered with stone slates. The brick upper section is supported by a three-course brick band. The front gable features a partially blocked elliptical-arched cart entrance and a blocked opening in the brick section. There is a two-light window at the rear and a bird opening with a ledge in the gable. On the right side, a stone stair leads to a doorway at the upper level.
