Description
Gardener's Cottage in Cannon Hall Gardens is a cottage built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a stone slate roof. The building stands two storeys high with a symmetrical three-bay front. There are quoins on the left side and three deep sash windows on the ground floor. The first floor has three 2-light windows, although the mullions have been removed. A tall ashlar stack with a cornice is located on the left, while a smaller brick stack is on the right. At the rear, there is a later outshut that includes an elliptical-arched cart entrance with an alternately blocked surround. The interior has not been inspected.
