Description
East Calverts House is a cottage built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed watershot rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two first-floor windows, along with a rear outshut. The corners are marked by quoins, and the openings have ashlar surrounds. On the right side, there is a four-panel door. The ground-floor windows are four-pane sashes, while the first-floor windows are 16-pane sashes. The roof has shaped kneelers and ashlar copings, with stacks located at both ends and in the center. The rear elevation includes a two-light flush-mullion window and a tall, flat-headed landing window with moulded arrises.
