Description
Ivelet Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1761, constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, featuring a partial rear outshut. Between the second and third bays, there is a part-glazed door set in an ashlar surround, which has moulded imposts and a shallow basket-arch above the soffit of the lintel. Above the door, a plaque is inscribed with "M 'G K' 1761". The farmhouse has 4-pane sash windows, also in ashlar surrounds, and stone gutter brackets. There are stacks located between the first and second bays and at the right end of the building. On the right return of the outshut, there is a window with a stone above it inscribed "DAIRY", which was intended to exempt it from Window Tax.
