Description
The Temple at Spensley House is a garden building dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar ironstone and features a stone slate roof. The building is square in shape and consists of a single storey. A central boarded door is set within a plain surround, and the stonework is cut to create a repetitive pattern of brown ironstone markings. The ashlar is laid in decorative patterns, and there is a projecting cornice with a cyma section.
