Description
Ghyll View and Ghyll Edge are a pair of houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from well-coursed watershot masonry and feature a stone slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have two first floor windows in total. The openings are framed with raised ashlar surrounds that have straight tooling. Each house has a doorway with a 20th-century part-glazed door located to the right.
Ghyll View, on the left, includes quoins on the left side, 4-pane sash windows, a shaped kneeler, ashlar coping, and an end stack on the left. Ghyll Edge, on the right, has sash windows with glazing bars, a ridge stack on the left, and an end stack on the right.
